On the evening of Friday, February 15, 2019, Plymouth High School will be inducting two new members into the Plymouth-Shiloh Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.  The purpose of the committee is to recognize graduates who have made outstanding contributions to society and in such have honored the legacy and standards of excellence held by Plymouth High School.  Recipients have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in one or more areas including:  career advancement, educational degrees achieved, outstanding military service, business success, humanitarian pursuits, service to society or school, performing arts, athletics or other notable distinctions. 

This year’s Plymouth-Shiloh Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame inductees are Mrs. Jane Laughbaum (Niedermeir), Class of 1972 and Mr. Charles “Rick” Reeder, Class of 1965.  The induction ceremony will take place at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game.  A reception for family and guests will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria prior to the varsity game.  

The Spring Sports Mandatory Parent and Team Meetings will be held on Monday February 18th starting at 6 PM in the HS gym.  Athletes and Parents who have not played a sport yet this year or did not attend either the Fall or Winter meetings must be in attendance for both parts of meeting starting at 6 PM.  All spring athletes along with a parent must be in attendance at the individual team meetings beginning at approximately 7 PM.  Any questions contact the Athletic Office.

Doug Hamman - Board President

Doug Hamman has called the Plymouth Shiloh community home for 15 years.  Doug is also married and has 3 sons in the Plymouth Shiloh District.

Deb Noble - Vice President

Picture of Deb Noble Deb Noble has been in the Plymouth-Shiloh community for most of her life.  She and her husband, Ralph are Plymouth graduates, as are her two children. They have two grandchildren who will most likely be Plymouth Alumni, as well.  Deb retired as a teacher from the district in 2013 where she taught 1st, 5th, and 7th grades over the course of 25 years.  Deb is eager to take on this new direction working with the district as a board member.

John Hart - Board Member

Picture of John Hart John Hart is a graduate of Shelby High School. John and his wife Dixie have three grown children. A daughter Andi and twin sons Shawn and Kevin and several grandchildren.

John has been an active member in the community for many years and is an avid hunter.  He retired from the Plymouth Shiloh School District after 41 years of service ultimately retiring as the High School principal.
